AMPERE S.p.A. is a family owned joint stock company founded in 1940 by the late G.Picker, a graduated in Electrical Engineering at Karlsruhe University in Germany.
The company’s main activities are sales of instruments and systems for Measurement, Test, Monitoring, and Diagnostics both as distributor and as agent on behalf of leading  manufacturers worldwide (see list pages 4 and 5). With a new and fast-growing business unit (named “Servizio Misure”) AMPERE is also offering consultancies and specialized measurement services to Power Plants and T&D Utilities, for predictive maintenance of transformers, generators, motors, overhead lines, substations, etc.
AMPERE has also adequate engineering capacity and experience for providing automatic energy management systems.
On top of sales in electrical market, AMPERE is providing measurement’s solutions for process industry and has a specialized business unit to sell, install and manage leak detection and monitoring systems for oil pipelines.
 
Sales territory is Italy.

The main customers are utilities, processing and manufacturing industries, R&D laboratories,  universities, etc.
The company participates to the most important technical trade shows in Italy, as well as to specialized trade shows and conferences.
